by | 0 comments

This month in the Raw Mom Club we are focusing on foods that kids will love and lick the bowl clean! PLUS Dr Ariel Policano answers your health questions in a one-on-one LIVE call.

As part of our free downloads Karen Ranzi shares an article on how hard it can be to give up comfort foods, like pasta, and gives some great alternate recipes and the secrets to health and giving up the stodge.

This is a simple raw food option that she and her kids loved growing up… tried & tested with empty plates and smiling faces all round!

Use a saladacco to create the linguini from the zucchini or yellow squash, and then add a simple sauce.

Ingredients:

4 medium zucchini sliced into linguini-like pasta

Sauce:

2 large or 3 medium ripe tomatoes (vine ripened if you can get them)

6 sun-dried tomatoes (without sulfur dioxide)

2 soaked dates

7 fresh basil leaves

A sprinkling of fresh oregano leaves

Directions:

Blend the sauce and stir into the zucchini linguini.
