Go Raw and Get Cool with The Cool Vegetarian Jeff Golfman
Written by Rachelle Fordyce on August 30, 2011 – -Raw Success Story: How I Became A Raw Vegan
- by Jeff Golfman of TheCoolVegetarian.com
Once upon a time I was a meat-eating, McDonald’s-loving, fried-food junkie. I hated vegetables, never ate greens, and fruit was only consumed as an artificial flavouring in a soda pop drink.
Favourites included meat, fries, Heinz ketchup, ice cream, candied carrots, breads, pastas, chicken noodle soup, eggs, toast, hot dogs, bacon, cookies, chocolate, popcorn, candy, gum, and Slurpees.
So… how did I get from SAD to RAW?

Overcoming Excessive and Compulsive Eating
Written by Danielle on August 15, 2011 – -

If you do it, you know it and it’s not fun. The classic polite smile as the plate of hummus comes around. You politely refuse. But as soon as you’ve got a moment to yourself behind closed doors the compulsion over takes you.
It starts with a dip of the fingers and ends with a half-stunned stare at the bottom of an empty bowl. Many of us inspired about health and vibrant living have come from a background of less than ideal eating patterns.
One of the many traps into which a lot of “Raw Foodists” fall, or any dieter or binger for that matter, is the trap of feast, then famine. If you’re one of the women who constantly puts her attention on the last 10 pounds to lose, then you know this trap all too well.
The 24 hour fast followed by the 3 hour binge. What does it take to finally achieve balance? How do we finally get into communication with ourselves and apply the tools that help us thrive and feel our best? At times it can seem a constant struggle, especially if you’ve come from a lifetime of destructive eating patterns.

Acne Facts
Acne is a common skin condition characterised by pimples on the face, chest, and back. Acne can bare its ugly head at any age, so if you are an adult suffering from this condition, don’t worry, you are not alone. Written by stephanie on May 8, 2011 – -
Staying On Your Raw Diet When You’re Not In Your Own Kitchen
Just because you’re not in your own kitchen doesn’t mean that you can’t maintain your Raw diet. Whether you’re away from your kitchen for the day or a week, these tips will help.
1. Check out your local restaurants
Check local restaurants where you can order raw food or even just some fresh salads. Plan on visiting these places frequently.
Call ahead and see if the restaurants will help you by preparing special foods (if they don’t already have things available on their menu).
