You know the feeling when you put a bowl of salad on the table, go back to the kitchen to get the main dish, and realize your family has already eaten the whole thing?! In 2 minutes flat?!

No? Well, whip up a batch of this amazing dressing, and enjoy with a quick and easy salad and just hope it stays on the table long enough for you to get a chance to try it yourself.

Second-Helping Guaranteed Salad Dressing

If you’re looking for a way to get your family to eat more greens and gorgeous veggies, then this salad dressing is exactly what you need! It tastes amazing, is made from whole, nourishing ingredients, and most importantly, is ready to be used at any time!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cold-pressed chia seed oil
  • 1 cup coconut vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1/4 cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 T dulse flakes (this is important! I forgot it one time, and definitely noticed something was off)
  • 2 t oregano
  • 2 t basil
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1/2 t sea salt
  • A few turns of pepper grinder

Directions:

  1. Microplane the garlic, then add it to the vinegar combo in a blender.
  2. Blend on low speed, and slowly drizzle in the oil.
  3. When the oil and vinegar are emulsified, pour the dressing into the final container, and stir in the spices.
  4. Store in the fridge for about 4 days.

The emulsifying will ensure the dressing doesn’t separate. But if it does, don’t worry! Simply scoop some out into your salad bowl, and set aside for a few minutes until the olive oil liquefies.

You’re done!

Now you’ll always have dressing on hand for quick salads without needing to use store bought versions with cheap industrial oils.
