I know what you’re thinking–“That’s the oldest cliché in the book!” Well, there’s a reason it’s the oldest cliché in the book! IT’S TRUE! The degree to which you’re able to feel affinity or admiration for things, people, environments and circumstances has an ENORMOUS effect on your success in life.
If you cannot feel a high sense of joy and closeness to the situations, people, and circumstances around you, you’ll be far less efficient, productive and capable of making decisions quickly. Just think of how irritation and frustration can cause you to feel suffocated and unhappy!
Affinity, or the ability to admire and feel a sense of closeness to something or someone, allows you to approach, connect, express, insist and expand! Withdrawing from other people or situations causes you to shrink back from life.
The first and most important truth to understand about ensuring your success in life, is knowing you’ve gotta have “Love, Sweet, Love” to make it all happen!
An ability to understand a wide range of viewpoints.
Every couple who has ever divorced knows the painful truth of how vital this skill is to living a successful life. No matter which side of a divorce or business break-up you’re on, both sides almost always have an undeniable conviction that they are right.
And, from their point of view, they most certainly are!
Your ability to understand why other people behave the way they do and embrace a perspective other than your own is hugely important in ensuring your success in life! The more you can embrace a wide sphere of understanding, the more confidence you have and the easier it is to solve problems, find solutions and persist in making your goals and objectives happen.
