Happy Holidays!

I hope you got the chance to bask in some special time with loved ones and are enjoying the hush after the rush that happens this time of year!

I spent Christmas all by myself. 🙂

I gave myself 4 litres of green juice and a whole lot of quiet time for Christmas!

Hubby is away working. My kids are enjoying the season’s festivities with their Dad’s side of the family.

It was a perfectly peaceful, totally productive holiday for me, and I managed to completely avoid the kitch, the rush, the fuss and stress of the season and kept things nice, easy and simple.

…I Want to Downsize and Prioritize What REALLY Matters

I received a message on Facebook yesterday. Someone was asking me, “Tera, are you closing all these programs because they haven’t been profitable?” Profit has nothing to do with my decision to shut down all our programs in favor of one I truly believe in.

I recognize the statistics are not stacked in my favor. I’m not naive about the fact that it is easier to sell a 3-week quick fix than a year-long overhaul of a woman’s entire life!

But in the last 10 years, I successfully built a list of over 100,000 people, saw tens of thousands go through our programs, and spoke live in front of thousands at events around the world.

The lives I saw change the most, were the ones whose hands I held, stories I heard, and butts I kicked into gear lovingly when necessary.

It was the woman who had the courage to spill her secrets, tears, and the fears she’d held trapped on the ledge of her soul that moved forward to make brave and permanent changes to they way she lived.

In the age of mind-boggling advances in technological innovation, I choose eye contact and meaningful conversation.

I’m sick of quick fixes and over-inflated exaggerations of what people can do. I don’t want to “build my list,” until I insist on supporting the people who are already here and who have entrusted me with their time and attention.

The release of our new 12-month program represents the culmination of everything I have worked toward in the last 10 years.

For the first time since the very first week I started building a business, I will be designing myself a business card. All these years, I didn’t get one because I didn’t feel proud of eoungh of the work I had done that I wanted to share it with the people I met along the way.

Today that’s very different.

On January 1st, I look forward to sharing with you a new model of what business can do when it is built on compassion, courage, commitment, and the personal integrity it has taken all these years to stay true to myself, believe in my dreams and persist in the face of adversity to pursue a vision of what I believed was possible.

Here’s to 2015 being a remarkable upgrade in health, prosperity and happiness for us all.
