Something Stinks About All That Pink!

By Tera Warner

I have a quick request.

Raise your hand if you’re aware of breast cancer.

*pause*

As suspected. 😉

Everyone and their poodle is officially “aware” of breast cancer. The pink ribbons, the pink marathons, the boas and buckets of pink Kentucky Fried Chicken. We are officially “aware!”

And what, may I ask, is all this “breast cancer awareness” doing for us?

  • Every 29 seconds a new diagnosis.
  • Every 75 seconds a new breast cancer-caused death.
  • Breast cancer rates have gone from one in 20 to one in seven in the last 50 years.
  • Preventive mastectomies are à la mode.
  • The mammogram scam sends millions of women to blast their breasts with 1000 times the radiation of a chest X-ray, conduct biopsies, lumpectomies, and other expensive, invasive procedures only to realise they didn’t have cancer anyway.
  • Completely harmless forms of cancer (that would never be fatal) are treated aggressively at great cost to the lives and pocketbooks of millions.
  • Companies are making a fortune sticking pink ribbons on carcinogenic cosmetics in the name of “finding a cure,” while the CAUSE is inside the package!

Sorry to get all hot under the collar, but as you can see, something stinks about this pink epidemic and around here we’re going to do something about it!

We don’t need more breast cancer “awareness,” we need a revolution in personal care for women. It’s time to Rethink Pink and provide some healthy lifestyle solutions that make sense.

Breast Cancer Can Be Understood

Breast cancer isn’t some mysterious, deadly blob that will attack us when we least expect it. We can make choices about how we live and the level of health that’s possible.

Rather than pump millions into a pharmaceutical “cure” what would happen if more women of the world started to pump a few extra minutes into personal care?

Our Rethink the Pink Project has not been funded by a bra store, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, or a cosmetic company. It’s driven by the determined spirit of a few people who really care about human health and want to do something to improve it. But the only way it’s going to make a dent of a difference in that stinky sea of pink is if we stand up and start to do something about it.

Three Easy Steps to Start Making a Difference

First step:

Inform yourself about what’s really going on: Sign up to join us for the Rethink Pink Summit coming up soon!

Second step:

Get everyone else you know to join you. A revolution that has no vested interest for pharmaceuticals, media or fashion and cosmetics isn’t going to make mainstream news. We need a small, but mighty voice of committed citizens to rise up from the rubble and do something about it.

Send the link to the Rethink Pink website to your friends and loved ones and get them to join us!

Third step:

The third step will be revealed during our summit when we share the most cutting edge resources along with the most common sense solutions to a lifestyle that builds health.

It’s time to rethink pink. We can stop “running for the cure” and take a stand against the cause.

Will you join me?

Love and a strong spine,

Stop Running For The Cure. Join Us To Stand Up For The Cause.

There are pink parades, pom poms and paraphernalia that line the streets and shopping aisles in the name of “finding a cure.” But with millions of dollars in fund-raising, why are rates of breast cancer (and all cancers) still on the rise. Something stinks about all this pink and we’re going to find out why!
