Raw Recipe: Holiday Mocktails

Looking for mocktails that are as delicious as they are good for you? These juicing recipes use the familiar holiday flavours of persimmon and pomegranate. Give them a try!
Persimmom Heaven
Oh, the marvelous persimmon! Persimmons contain a number of nutrients that help prevent clogged arteries. They’re also an excellent source of phytonutrients, which have antioxidant and anticancer properties. Additionally, limes contain an antibiotic compound that inhibits the contraction of bacterial illnesses.
Ingredients:

2 limes
-
2 persimmons
-
¼-inch slice ginger root
Directions:
Juice all ingredients and serve.
Pomegranate Dream
Pomegranate juice contains particularly high level of antioxidants and may reduce blood pressure and LDL cholesterol.
Ingredients:
• 3 peaches
• 3 pomegranates
• 2 pears
• ½ lime, peeled
Directions:
Break open the pomegranates in a sink full of water, under the water to prevent mess. Juice all ingredients and serve.
