Reishi, the Queen of mushrooms and Chaga, the King the top two cleansing and rejuvenating medicinal mushrooms on the planet!

Tonic Tea For Strong Bones and Immuni~tea.

Time to get out your foraging gloves and skip off to the hills!

Ingredients:

  • Nettle
  • Horse Tail
  • Burdock Root
  • Oat Straw
  • Ashwaganda Root
  • He Shou Wu (Fo Ti)
  • Reishi Mushroom slices
  • Chaga Mushroom pieces

Directions:

Using as much of each of the ingredients as you love, in a large pan and fill with enough water to cover very generously.

Place the lid on to the pan and heat on the stove until almost boiling.  Then, reduce the heat to a low simmer and allow to infuse for 30 minutes to one hour.  As we are using tough barks and roots we need more time infusing to extract the goodies!

After the allotted time has passed, remove the pan from the heat and allow to stand until completely cooled.

The, strain, either through a fine mesh sieve OR a nut milk bag.

Store this tea concentrate in a glass jar in your refrigerator or pantry and use when ever you desire a love cup of Tonic Tea.

Serving ideas:  Serve warmed by adding a half cup or so of the concentrate tonic and diluting with hot water.  Sweeten or not sweeten to your preference.
