How To Improve Your Self-Confidence and Rewire Your Body Image

body enlightenment be healthy programRecently, I did an interview with Carol Look, “Why You’ll Never Get Thin if You Feel Fat.” This was a fabulous interview and loaded with inspiration and kick-butt energy for all those who have ever struggled with carrying excess weight, or just having a poor self-image. You could lock a person who has a poor self-image in a room with no food for 30 days, and they would still gain weight. It’s not about food, it’s about energy! On that call, Carol shared the two most important things you need to do to improve your self-confidence and rewire your body image:

1. Lower Your Resistance

Your resistance is how you resist the things you want and are able to create for yourself. Things like limiting beliefs and negative thoughts: “I can’t, I won’t, I shouldn’t, I’m not allowed to, I’m too big.” TAPPING is Carol’s favourite way of handling these and you can listen to her interview for a few live examples of how that works.

2. Raise Your Vibration

Nothing will change in your body, until you change your vibration and your energy. You can put yourself in a better mood about anything.  If you hear yourself say, “but I can’t get in a better mood about my body,” then change topics. You need to change your vibrations – change your energy – and that’s how you create the ‘success’ you’re looking for with your body.

Carol insisted that one of the most powerful tools, and her favorite ways of improving energy is to start by making a list of “10 Things I Love About Myself,” and as mentioned above, when that’s tough, then “10 Things That Are Going Well.” Now, here’s a little idea about how we can use this concept as a way of earning access to our original 30-Day Body Enlightenment program:
