Who Are Two Girls Cooking?
They’re two holistic nutritionists with a whole lot of love for food, cooking and creating vibrant health!
Annaliisa Kapp (left) and Tammy Acker (right) met at school while studying to become nutritionists at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. They became roommates and quickly discovered their mutual passion for food and health. From that passion and creativity their company, Two Girls Cooking, came to life. Armed with knowledge and a belly full of fire, they set out to bring more nutritious and delicious food to the world!!
The Rawvoltion of Healthy Snacks
At first, these two lovely ladies didn’t have a clear direction — but they did have an appetite for health that produced magic in the kitchen. And so, Annaliisa and Tammy started their venture by selling nourishing organic vegan gluten-free grain bowls at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. They received exceptionally positive responses from their fellow students and teachers, and thus sparked the idea of reaching a larger audience.
Annaliisa and Tammy realized that they were completely frustrated with the fiber-less, sugar laden, hydrogenated, sodium infused, refined, unhealthy snack choices on the market. From that frustration and passion, Two Girls Cooking – and their nutritious and delicious snacks – were born.
Knowing that you can acquire optimum health through the use of live, enzyme rich foods that detoxify and renew the body and build all of its cells, they made it their mission to develop products using these principles. The result? Delicious health enhancing treats for everyone to enjoy!
More Kale Chips and Veggie Crisps, Please!
…Two years later, they’ve developed 6 amazing raw vegan snacks that are sold nationwide!
Annaliisa and Tammy have also developed a series of culinary workshops to inspire people to have fun in the kitchen and discover the amazing healing qualities of whole organic foods. In these workshops, Two Girls Cooking are giving away all their secrets: how to make their beloved kale chips and vegetable crisps, create the most delicious and nutritious everyday meals, and how to heal your body with organic whole foods.
If you’re interested in joining the healthy revolution with Annaliisa and Tammy, visit their website for workshop info and more details.

I want kale chips for my kids (well, ok, and me too). My youngest (2 yrs old) recently went to the cabinet looking for something to eat and he grabbed a bag of kale chips I had made and started munching away, completly happy to chow down on raw green goodness. Not a clue in the world that this isn’t something your average 2 year old does! I love it! I want inspiration for more tasty flavors and to make these more often! Thanks Tera and Two Girls Cooking!

My 13 year old daughter is trying really hard to become 100% raw vegan with me despite teasing from her friends at school and the lack of support from her father and his family. She LOVES kale chips and I would be grateful for her to have these!

I would like to try the vegan kale chips b/c I have wanted to make my own (but haven’t so far). I used to really dislike kale; however, now I don’t mind it so much (I won’t go so far as to say I LIKE it, although I do like some varieties more than others.) So this might be just the thing to get me hooked on kale as a snack!

I would really like to try new raw snacks. I don’t actually use snack foods much for snacks, they end up in my regular meals. I am just getting started trying out more raw foods other than salad, and enjoying the difference it makes in my health. I’m having fun trying new things as well. Just had a raw spaghetti and meatballs dish yesterday that was delish! Anyway, looking forward to more raw stuff! Thanks for the blog and for all the great ideas,Tera and friends!

I’m on the road a lot, and often when I stop for gas, an evil alien takes over my body, walks into the gas station, buys potato chips, and proceeds to eat them all before letting me back into my body. Having healthy snacks like kale chips in the car magically wards off that evil alien.

I would LOVE to win these! I do not have a dehydrator and have had a major fail moment when using the oven to try to make these. I am smack dab in the middle of a life transformation and can use all the healthy snacks I can get! So far I’ve lost 65 pounds in 3 months! But best of all? The wheel chair I was projected to be in? Yeah… I did two 5K’s this summer!!!

I love Kale Chips and to my surprise my son does too.
I actually made some yesterday however they were too salty.
My son has so many food allergies that I love to eat RAW vegan foods because I know that they are not super processed into names no one can pronounce.

I am looking for things that we could try that are healthy and get to get their mind sets on more healthier eating and not processed. I have been reading up on raw eating and hope that I would get a better feel of healthier snacks. Thank you!

why you want to eat healthy raw vegan snacks…Because I want to become healthy. I want the body God intended for me to have. But most importantly because raw food living just makes sense to me. Eat the foods that the earth gives us naturally, not the man feed “stuff” that one can’t pronounce half of the ingredients in the food item. also because this just sounds like a fun eating adventure. I can travel the world through my meals. Thanks Shari
