In preparation for our upcoming WISH Summit, I thought I would take the opportunity to start introducing you to a few of the callers and what they’ll be up to this year. A bit of a “sneak peek” at what to expect.

I’m starting with a call that we did just the other day, and it knocked my socks right off! (Although, if we’re talking about articles of clothing, the word “panty” was coming up a lot more often.)

Alisa Vitti is the founder of www.floliving.com and she’s spearheading a revolution for women. Here’s just a bit about our call and what you can look forward to hearing more of when you sign up for WISH.

There are pretty little pills you can take these days that will liberate you from the burden of your monthly menstrual cycle.
The advertisements are everywhere marketing to women and offering a quick way to drug the very cycle of life out of your existence.

And while dainty pink ribbons call us to invest in research to fight breast cancer,  a quiet, pink-tinted sort of chemical warfare is taking place against women and it’s time to do something about it.

It’s time for us to step back into the power of our periods and light a fire in our feminine essence. It’s time to of life that makes us who we are.

An that’s why we’ve invited the world leading flo expert Alisa Vitti to come and share with us her wisdom on what women can do to reclaim their power, their health and their bodies.

Here are just some of the things we discuss in this call:

What’s happening to women out there as a result of our “hormone imbalances” ?

What’s at stake for women facing drugs as an option for hormone imbalances?

How did we get here–to a society where women are so completely and quickly disempowered around these issues?

What do women need to know in order to feel confident and in control at their next gyn appointment?

Should we go see a gyn, and how often?

What’s it going to take for us to turn the tides? To create a wave of women in power over their health, their bodies and their lives?

If you want to catch this call, make sure you’re signed up for WISH. Calls start on March 8th (International Women’s Day) and the complete schedule of calls will be made available upon registration. SIGN UP NOW.

Alisa Vitti, HHC, AADP (Holistic Health Counselor, American Association of Drugless Practitioners) founded Laughing Sage Wellness Center, now the FLO Living Center (www.FLOliving.com) in Manhattan 9 years ago after experiencing the many frustrating health symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and then healing herself through food and lifestyle changes. She received degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where she fine-tuned her unique approach to helping younger women naturally correct hormonal imbalances using medicinal foods. She was recently selected as Hay House’s first Mover&Shaker and made her debut at their “I Can Do It” conference in 2010. She and her work were also featured in Dr. Christiane Northrup’s revised edition of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom released in June 2011.
