The Sweet-Tart Smoothie
This is a great post workout recovery drink, slightly tart with a bit of sweet. Cranberries have anti-inflammatory properties and are an amazing antioxidant in the body. Coconut water helps restore electrolytes lost during a workout. This is also an amazing immune boosting smoothie, loaded with Vitamin C.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- ½ cup fresh orange juice (if using high-powered blender such as a Blendtec use whole orange)
- ½ cup cranberries
- ½ cup raspberries
- ½ cup coconut water
- 1 scoop Sunwarrior Vanilla protein powder
Directions
If using high powered blender, blend orange first. Otherwise, combine all ingredients and blend.
