Raw Food Recipe: Butterscotch Bliss Balls

 

School is almost out, but there’s still time to add a new snack into your children’s lunch box. The whole family will love these, and so will you. These Butterscotch Bliss Balls do not require a dehydrator!

Ingredients

  • Raw Food Recipe: Butterscotch Bliss Balls1 cup dates pitted
  • ½ cup cashews
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • Pinch of Celtic sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons raw coconut butter/oil
  • 1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

 

Directions

Step 1:  Ground the cashews down to a fine powder in a food processor.

Step 2:  Add all the other ingredients except for half the zest and the shredded coconut.

Step 3:  Blend until very smooth and creamy.

Step 4:  Spoon into balls, then roll in remaining orange zest and coconut.
