Get Rid of Digestion Problems Once and For All

A healthy digestive system is key for us to access the maximum amount of nutrition from the foods we eat.  To get the most bang for our buck so to speak! Not only that, when our digestive tract is free and clear and working beautifully, we no longer suffer with the ongoing discomfort of bloating, indigestion, constipation, or a host of other health concerns that can drain the life out of us when our pipes are blocked.

Wouldn’t you just love to feel light, clean, clear, energetic and sprightly all of the time? Even after sitting down to a delicious dinner and two helpings of dessert?! Well, as you probably know if you’re here with us, increasing the amount of raw food in your meals, and the raw meals in your week will take you a long way towards that aim.

The next step from there to really get your digestive fires burning, is to learn some important tips and tricks to aiding (rather than hindering) your body’s important digestive work.  Throughout our digestive health theme, you’ll be finding out how you can be your body’s own best friend as it transforms your fruits, vegies, nuts, seeds (and chocolate!) into molecular nutrition to power you through your day, and renew your every cell.

Food & Digestive Health

This month on the blog we’ll be covering 4 of the most common digestive problems, and looking at specific foods and practices that can help to minimize, if not eliminate the uncomfortable symptoms.  We’ll take a look at:

  • IBS (or Irritable Bowel Syndrome, we’ll stick to the acronym from here on in, but just so we’re all on the same page here)
  • Constipation
  • Gallstones
  • Candida
