I have lost 6 lbs so far, and I feel great, and I think I will make it a habit of
doing green smoothies at least 3 time a week.

I know I have not been up to date with all the journals, but I have been doing great on the 21 day raw green smoothie plan.   I want to thank you for inspiring me to participate.

21-Day Green Smoothie Detox - featuring Victoria BoutenkoA year ago I remember a co-worker came into work with a green smoothie and I looked at  it, raised my eyebrows saying, ” What did you put in that?”

My co-worker told me and I made a face and thought, “I’m glad it’s not me drinking that.”

But here I am today finishing day 19 and feeling great. Thank you for all
the encouraging letters and the blog posts, they have been both informative
and uplifting,  especially on days when I needed a hand up.

I am currently working and going to night school taking Holistic Nutrition, some days I leave the house at 6 am and do not get home till 10pm. (packing with me my breakfast smoothie, lunch juice, and dinner soup)

All the green smoothies are making a difference on these long days. I can’t quite explain it, but it’s like I can see brighter, I’m not as tired, and I can focus better on what I’m doing.  And the bonus is I lost some weight too.

How great is that!

We call it the “Green Ripple Effect.” When you add green smoothies and simple, wholesome nutrition to your diet through leafy greens and fruit, the benefits and ripples start with you, but they also reach out and affect others positively in ways you’d never anticipate.

I think I take personal delight in every “I’m glad I’m not drinking that!” comment that converts to a I can’t believe I haven’t been drinking this! Probably because I fought so hard and with such a wrinkled nose of disbelief myself when I too was among the uninitiated.

But you just can’t argue with the taste or with the benefits once you decide to dive in and slurp! Speaking of benefits, Lorraine updated us on her progress after the program!

Lorraine is feeling great and lost 8 lbs… all because someone showed up at work one day with a green smoothie.
