This is the BEST apple pie EVER. Made it for my extended family over New Year’s Eve (along with some raw whole milk whipped cream) and everyone– even the non-raw members– couldn’t get enough of it.

1 caveat: I used large apples and had way too much filling (I mean, we ate it, but…). Could someone specify either apple size or weight or quantity of sliced apples (eg: 1 cup)?

I really want to change my eating habits. I am having health issues and it seems to get worse. With that said I have been looking into raw food diets….my problem is 85% of the stuff is gross. Mushrooms, veggies I can’t spell or say, and the recipes have things in there that are way to expensive. So what can I do? I like carrots, cucumber, tomato, green onion, romain lettuce, raw spinach, raw cabbage, broccili, cauliflour. I love most fruits grown here in America. So am I a lost cause? I hope not, any ideas?
