Commit to Fit (Day 9) Get a Load of This!
Written by admin on July 2, 2010 – -In true Pete Cerqua form, this video happens at light speed. You might need to watch it a few times to get it all in, but I do believe, dear Sisters, that we have ourselves some new exercises to try out.
We’re only one more day away from Day 10! Who’s going to be getting a Vook?
Keep me posted and get up against that wall!
Love and firm thighs,
Tera

ha ha! I have to watch this one again
I added a whole second to my plank today, to tip it over the 60 second mark (I could barely do 30 seconds when I started). Wall sit at 90 secs (from 60 seconds on day 1). I wouldn’t say either of them are “easy” yet, or anything close – but I can definitely feel the improvement

Woho! I was totally boosted today, it felt like I was flying, I’ve had a few tired days lately-maybe I was building muscle? Could make sense? I thought I was only tired as usual, but when I felt energized today it felt like it might have been a “bump” while I got stronger. Definitively stronger now, not that the excercises are easy, at all, I still count down for the last 10-15 on both of them, and breathe heavily, also on day NINE!!!! How cool is this, I did something for me-for nearly 10 days in a row. Even if I have to admit, I always do them at the last minute. Sometimes after the kids are asleep
But I do love the concept and will tell all my friends about it.
And I’m so proud of myself, of Tara and all you other ladies out there taking the challenge! Yay for us! Now I’m gonna watch the video again and take notes! Lovely, lovely so many thanks!

Thanks, Tera and Pete! I’m late to the game, but thank you so much for doing this. I’m definitely going to try the workout, once I get moved into my new place

I am so glad for all of you ladies! Doing such a great workout everyday!
I started regular strength routine thanks to you again. Today I did wall-plank-superwoman trio 90-90-90. And gone try new ones later in the day. We have the whole second level now to step up
Can you imagine how much stronger we all will be in the August!
And so thankful to Tera and Pete

Yes! I just did my tenth day, or is it eleven now (?), and just like Renata I added the superwoman to my “old” ones. 69 seconds on that one
I think it’s really motivating to think, so, now I did 90 pushups.
This is a genious program. Getting stronger in no time!
Thanks so much for the challenge!
Love, helene

I’m so gonna keep it and add it to my 21 day green smoothie detox starting tomorrow!

Wooho! We did it! And I hope it’s just the beginning

Today my workout was 90-90-90-90 wall-plank-superwoman-legs raise.
I am still quite shaky on each of these. Those are real challenge.
And it’s good to have it every day
You are all superwomen!
Hugs, Renata

My thighs are DEFINITELY feeling firmer!!! I am just loving it. I have to get into the dreaded swimsuit today for 4th of July party, and I feel so much more confident then I did 10 days ago! Woohoo!!!! I love seeing the other ladies here that are doing this with me, so so encouraging! Renata the Ginger smoothie worked
thank you so much! It’s soooooooo delicious too! I am still not to 90 secs on any of the exercises but I will be before long, I just know it!

And this is so much fun too!!! I just did my wallsit, plank and when I came to the superwoman I asked my partner to time me, and my 4 yo came and corrected me, no mum *showing me actual pose*: superwoman flyes like this-one arm at the front and one at the side in a very matter of fact way. It was so hilarous I had to stop with 25 seconds left to go, I laughed so hard it must have been exercise too, no?
You are all superwomen!
LOVE TO YOU ALL

My Day 3: On 7-02-2010, I took a day off
My Day 4: On 7-03-2010, I walked 35 mins in the early morning. It was serene & cool. I did the Wall Sit 70 seconds & the Plank 90 seconds (arms & lower back are shaking…) It is easier to work out in the early mornings! : )

My Day 5: On 7-04-2010, I pulled weeds from my garden this morning. I don’t know how long but I sure felt like very looooooooooong. WOW! I had to watch your level 2 video many times to learn the right posts. I finished the 90 second Superwoman with no big problem. I did the Wall Sit 72 seconds. The leg raise was a BIG challenge – my lower back couldn’t hold that long. I had to raise my knees up to my chest to rest for a few seconds & then continue the leg raise. I had to repeat this rest several times in order to finish the 90 seconds. Is it OK or should I stop? Oh wait, I forgot to grab something to support my hands with. Sit up was pretty easy for the first 48 seconds. I did finish 90 seconds. I sure felt all that workout on my thighs, lower back & lower abs! Thank you for offering this video. It really helps me to understand the correct posts. I need to go outside in order to do the Hanging Out tomorrow. The Plank 90 seconds (arms are still shaking.) I like this challenge! : )

Helene that is really sweet!! I indeed think laughing is a good workout! My son has Angelman Syndrome and one of the clinical characteristics is laughing, a LOT. Let me tell you, he is 6 years old and he has abs of STEEL, and has since he was tiny!! No kidding!!

How awesome are we all? I took a day off on Sunday and felt stronger today. I did a 120 sec wall sit and 65 plank, then went on to Callanetics warm up and her first abs exercise. I seem to be holding myself better, my stomach looks flatter and my arms feel toned
Well done EVERYone!

It’s a new week and it’s unbelievably sunny weather in Estonia, it is never too long here, so we are caching every sunbeam.
Today I did 4 exercises for 90 secs each. The last one for abs was very difficult, so I’ll give my body time to adjust and will add other exercises later in a week.
