Jessica Fenton’s Top Ten Tips for Raw Moms
Written by admin on March 23, 2010 – -Jessica came highly referred to Raw mom by one of our readers who enjoyed the Raw Mom Summit, and I love hearing about inspiring raw moms out there and know you do too!
Jessica Fenton’s Top Ten Tips for Raw Moms
Eat with your child at every opportunity
- Children are sociable creatures and love to interact as they eat. Eating as a family is crucial to your child’s development as it teaches him to try new foods and gives him the confidence at meal times to explore new foods. Often if he sees you enjoying a food, he will too.
- Introduce new foods slowly
- If your child doesn’t seem to like a new food don’t panic just try him again with it at later date.
- Make food fun
- Make a game out of meal times and trying new foods. If your child seems unsure at first let him see how much you love it. Make fun faces out of his food on his plate and rename the meal with a silly name to entice him.
- Don’t make issues out of meal times
If your child is not willing to partake in a meal time let him get down from the table to avoid getting locked into a battle over the dinner table. Just make it clear that this is his main meal and there may be no more snaking until later.
- If your child wants to eat cooked food – let him
- This is especially important if your child has previously eaten a cooked diet. Just make sure that it’s home cooked with love and consists of the healthiest cooked foods possible. Avoid the common nasties such as refined sugar, refined salt, wheat, gluten, dairy, meat, etc. Don’t deny him the foods he craves or else he might resort to eating them in secret, which no child should ever have to resort to.
- Let your child help with creating his meals if he is old enough

When Dust Settles, Hearts Soar
Written by Tera on March 23, 2010 – -Persistence, Determination, Commitment and Courage!
What an incredible adventure!
As promised, I took a bit of time to put my feet up and am back to help bring this incredible event to a fabulous finish. (The truth, is that I didn’t really put my feet up. We spent the weekend at a health exposition and served nearly 7000 green smoothie samples in just 3 days! AMAZING!)
Thank you SO much for your positive feedback, the tear-jerking testimonials and the gratitude for what has been shared here over the last couple weeks. If you’d like to share your feedback about the calls on Attitude, or the Grande Finale line-up, we’d LOVE to hear from you.
Now that you’ve got a sense of what it looks like to prioritize yourself rather intensively for 10 days, it should be a piece of cake moving forward from here.
If you managed to make the time to listen to the calls…
Look back at all the hours you gave to yourself during the WISH Summit.
What would happen if you committed to prioritizing yourself for even a fraction of that time every month? every week?
How much more empowered, balanced and positive would you feel?
The only way you’re going to improve conditions in your life is by investing time and attention where you need it most.
Everyone knows they need to eat better and exercise to lose weight. The reason people join weight loss programs is not to get information about nutrition or fitness, it’s to have some support, accountability and a system to help keep commitments in place.
When you upgrade to the WISH recordings, you’re not only going to get access to ALL the calls and the bonus calls, you’ll get the complete transcripts and cheerful support messages encouraging you to take a few moments for yourself and soak up some wisdom.

We’re going to do everything we can to ensure this information brings you results.
I have a little confession to make.
While reading The Passion Test by Janet Attwood, I was totally moved by a story about a woman who transformed her relationship with her husband by positive reinforcement rather than complaining or putting attention on his shortcomings.
About an hour after I read the book, in spite of knowing that I should just positively reinforce the love of my life, and eventhough I had just read The Passion Test, I made him feel like a goof for not doing something. I pointed out his weak spot.
*gulp*
It happens.
It happens to all of us.
It happens in spite of your best intentions.
It happens in spite of the books you read and the lectures you hear.
It happens no matter how hard you think you work to make things go right.
LIFE HAPPENS!
It finds a way to dish out curve balls and sucker punches and it takes courage, persistence and even practice to make it all come out right in the end. It takes discipline and commitment to act on the choices you know will support you the most.
You got a taste of what it’s all about. You got an appetizer of empowerment when you took a chance to listen to the recordings. Now it’s time to commit to making it all happen.
Commit today and upgrade to the WISH recordings so you can get unlimited access to the calls and join us for an entire year of persistently choosing to commit to your best life. After March 31st, this offer will no longer be available, so register now before it’s too late.
Persistence, determination, commitment and courage!

Even though the calls are no longer available, we’ve still got an action-packed week ahead of us and some exciting announcements to make, so keep your eyes on your inbox, Sunshine!

Keeping More “Greens” in your Wallet – Tips for Healthy Groceries on a Budget – Part 1
Written by admin on March 22, 2010 – -
One of the complaints people often make about trying to transition and eat a more healthy diet is that it “costs more”. While it is true that some specialty ingredients may be more expensive than their massively produced and cheaper counterparts, there are many other costs associated with not eating a healthy diet and the risks of ill health: lost time from work due to illness, medical costs and procedures, and the real costs that can’t be measured – your emotional, physical, and yes, even spiritual well-being.
The best way to learn something new is to ask someone who’s already doing what you want to do successfully. One of our green smoothie program participants is offering to share her tips with you on making the most of your greens… the ones you have in your wallet!
Menu Planning Saves Time and Money
- by Loretta Spivey
Tip #1
I have no idea what I’d do without my weekly menu planner. This business of waking up in the morning and giving my kids cold cereal or a sugary toaster thingy just rubs me the wrong way. And it takes way too much energy to stop and think up something tasty, healthy and budget friendly on a daily basis.
So, here is what I figured out. Once a week, usually on Sunday morning, I wake up and curl up with my laptop and my menu plan sheet for the week. The sheet has three columns going down and eight (one for each day of the week and shopping list) going across. I plan breakfast, lunch (usually to go items the kids can pack for themselves) and dinner. The last column lists the items needed to prepare the specific menu items.
Why take 30 precious minutes on a Sunday to make a menu for the week? It’s simple:
1. It saves me at least that much time each day in thinking about and planning meals, checking to see if I have the ingredients and/or running to the store. Plus, once you do it for a month or six weeks you can then just rotate menus or make minor edits and you are on your way.
2. It saves me stress. Once the menu is done, it’s done. I don’t have to think about it any more; I just execute.
3. The biggest reason though is that is saves MONEY. You know how it is, you run into the store to get three items and come out having spent $70.00 (or more!). I am on a very tight food budget and running into the grocery store several times each week is a SURE FIRE way to blow the budget.
Bonus Benefit. Teaches my children the value of planning AND teaches them the importance of operating within a budget.
Take a little extra time early in the week and watch the saved time add up. You’ll be glad you did.

Share a comment on today’s post and/or your OWN tips for healthy food budgeting, and once we read your comment we’ll send you a copy of Loretta’s Weekly Menu Planner Word document! (be sure to include a valid e-mail address).

Our Grande Finale!
Written by Tera on March 20, 2010 – -That went fast!
Now that you’re filled to the brim with empowering information about love, relationships, spirituality, money and health…
Now that your batteries are fully charged and your engine is loaded with jet-fuel…
NOW we’re going to fire up the engine and prepare you for lift off! Here’s our Grande Finale line-up and why we’ve chosen to keep them for last!
We’ve asked every speaker on this conference what their wish for women is, and tomorrow I’ll be sharing mine. In the meantime, enjoy this Grande Finale line-up of speakers!
Our Grande Finale
Alisa Vitti (Interviewed by Tera Warner) This is about women’s health and when I met Alisa Vitti (Hay House’s new up and coming women’s health expert) I realized that we most definitely needed to get her voice on the WISH stage. If you’ve not yet listened to this call, it’s a powerful wake up call for women. Alisa shared with me the fact that hysterectomies are the most common surgical procedure in North America.
*gasp*
We have a responsibility to inform ourselves about what’s going on in our bodies, and we have a responsibiility to inform our daughters, too. Turning to pharmaceuticals before turning to a book on human anatomy and physiology means we’ve given up too much of our own power to know and understand. This call is the first step to making that happen.
Christine Arylo (Interviewed by Shannon Leone) This wild card came out of the woods at the last minute and totally WOWed us with her dynamic and inspirational message of empowerment for women. It’s all about you, you, you. How you love yourself, nurture yourself, trust yourself, prioritize yourself and allow yourself to live fully in every moment.
Tara-jenelle Walsch (Interviewed by Tera Warner) It’s a rather unsuspecting powerhouse of possibility in this call. Tara is one of the three women whose work we’ll be featuring as a part of WISH Summit, and for good reason. She’s enabling and empowering thousands of people to open their hearts and express themselves authentically. Just wait until you see what we’ve put together! All the members of WISH Club will be getting a special package from Tara and we’ll be using it for an entire YEAR to enhance, improve and empower ourselves by reaching out to others. This subject is the very foundation of what WISH is all about. Please don’t skip this potent message for its apparent simplicity.
“Mama Gena” Regena Thomashauer (Interviewed by Tera Warner) This is the firework finish to our WISH Summit, and for good reason. Just visit www.mamagenas.com and you’ll see immediately what she’s all about. NEVER have I observed more unbridled passion and playful, powerful energy than in THIS woman. It was a privilege and an honor to be able to catch her in between her filming sessions with Rachel Ray. If you walk away from WISH with one message pounding in your heart, let it be this one because by its very nature all other things will inevitably fall in place with it.
I’m spending the weekend at a health and wellness expo here in Montreal. Yesterday we served over 1000 green smoothie samples and today and tomorrow we’re expected to double that amount! It’s exciting to see the influence each of us can have on the world!
I have so much to say and so many thoughts as this incredible event comes to a close. For now I’ll leave you with these powerful presentations and a reminder that this evening at 8:00 pm (Montreal time) we’ll be making available the ENTIRE WISH line-up for 36 hours.
This is your reminder email. You will not receive another email about this, because I will be kicking up my heels, dining with my family at the local vegetarian restaurant and soaking up the satisfaction of having touched the lives of tens of thousands of women in a remarkable way!
You dive in and enjoy the rest of your adventure. I’ll catch you on Monday morning feeling marvelous and ready to share some exciting things with you as we close up shop in the final week of our summit. Let’s finish up this wild and wonderful party for women and make every moment count.
Fireworks and all things fabulous,
Tera and Shannon

Ready for an attitude adjustment?
Written by Tera on March 19, 2010 – -It’s time for your annual attitude adjustment.
Good morning, Sunshine!
Now that you’ve soaked in the wisdom or our prosperity panel, it’s time for your annual attitude adjustment. If you have a few minutes to let us know what you thought of the Money calls, we really appreciate your feedback. Many of you were surprised that the calls weren’t just about cash, but about the attitude and spiritual mindset required to create it!
Today’s speakers are top notch. An unstoppable team of players who have no limits. Do whatever you can to squeeze these calls into your schedule and it will be well worth it. Before I tease you with a bit about them, I have a few items of business to mention.
All the Calls Available One Last Time
I said that I would be making ALL the calls available for another 24 hours at the end of the summit, but I changed my mind. We’re making them available for 36 hours instead so you can have your Saturday Sunday evenings to listen to as many calls as you want!
On Saturday night at about 8pm (Montreal time), we’ll post the entire set of summit calls and bonuses and we’ll make them available to you until Monday morning at 8am (Montreal time).
We worked hard and long for months to bring this to the world, and we don’t want to shut down the show without making sure you get the chance to try it on for size. Naturally we hope this will inspire many of you to climb on board to get the WISH Unlimited recordings or join the WISH Club.
Speaking of which…
Changes to the WISH Unlimited Recordings Package
Initially we had only intended to make the full transcripts available to people who join the WISH Club, but given the feedback we’ve received and the fact that I know you’ll get more results with both the transcripts and the recordings, I’ve decided to include the entire set of transcripts for no additional cost as part of the WISH Unlimited upgrade!

That more than doubles the value of the WISH Unlimited upgrade!
Most people purchase something like this and leave it on their electronic book shelf. We’re not going to let that happen! We’ll be trickling the transcripts your way throughout the year with reminders and motivational tips to help you implement the information and make it a part of your life.
It’s really the least we can do to help make sure you get results since you will not be getting the regular coaching calls, workbooks and community support of the WISH Club.
And There’s More…
I’ve been aching to tell you about the three women whose artistic projects we’ll be featuring, but given that we’ve got all our attention on the calls right now, I’ll wait to fill you in on those things next week as we’re wrapping things up. We’ll keep it as a surprise for our final week together!!
For now, let’s get on with the show!
Our Attitude Experts
Marci Shimoff (Interviewed by Shannon Leone) It sounds so easy, “happiness” yet it’s surprising how many people never manage to embrace or infuse it into their lives. What if we don’t have to chase it down and search for it under rocks or in certain living conditions. What if you can just be happy for no reason? Marci loved this interview as much as we did. If you have batteries that need recharging, consider this call your turbo-boosted recharging station!
Cynthia Kersey (Interviewed by Tera Warner) If there are barriers in your path, obstacles in your way or reasons you’re giving yourself about why you’re not doing what you really want to be doing in life, then prepare to lose them all. Few people are more qualified to speak on the unstoppable nature of the human spirit than Cynthia Kersey! And in the unlikely event that you still have questions about whether or not you can do what you really want to do in you life after this call, then you will have to tune into the next call.
Sean Stephenson (Interviewed by Tera Warner) I wasn’t sure if I should put this call in Relationships or in Spirituality or Attitude, but it’s a kick-butt call no matter where you put it. One of Sean’s best qualities is that he’s an open book. No question is a bad questions and everything is fair game. Sean breaks all the rules and is an inspiration to millions. I dare you to try being self-conscious or insecure about your thighs or your flabby arms after this call!! You won’t be able to do it. Sean’s three foot body and degenerative bone disease has not stopped him from having the life, the love and the luxuries he wants in his life and he’ll inspire the same in you.
Barbara De Angelis (Interviewed by Tera Warner) What a powerhouse this woman is. I had no idea that she was truly one of the first female self-development gurus to take the stage. She talked about the fact that Harv Eker says she’s the only woman he knows who can handle and hold the space for audiences of 5000 people at a time. Just listening to this call you’ll feel yourself expand. Whoa! Seriously potent stuff and loaded with great tips and inspiration on how to take your life up a few notches. She most certainly lives what she teaches and does not shy away from challenging people to step up the volume on their authentic selves.
So, that’s it. I won’t admit how many hours it took me to compose this little email and speckle it with color while battling e-gremlins, but it’s here and you’re here and I’m here and we’re all here and THAT is what matters.
Make it amazing as we bring it in to the final countdown! You’re doing great things for yourself by being here, and if you keep soaking up this information the way you have been, next year we’ll probably be asking YOU to take the stage on our WISH Summit.
