Health at the Women’s International Summit for Health
Written by Tera on March 17, 2010 – -It’s all about health, guys and girls!
That’s the whole reason we’re here in the first place. We’ve been exploring a lot of different areas of our health (relationships, beauty, fitness, etc.) but tonight is reallly about your physical health issues and what you can do to improve them.
Did you listen to last night’s speakers?? I have had some great feedback so far and even get to do some bragging. People went crazy for Mimi Kirk’s interview and do you know *beaming with pride* that in one of her major interviews she attributed my 7-day raw food detox to being the program that kickstarted her enthusiasm and interest in healthier eating and the raw food diet!! How exciting is that!?!
I just came out of recording the “Grande Finale” fireworks presentation for our WISH Summit and it was MAGNIFICENT! I am SO excited to share this call with you. I have kids to tuck in and pepper with kisses, but I’ll be back a bit later with some surprises and some exciting news about what’s coming up in the next few days!
Give us your feedback on the beauty call here, and hunker down for a health session with tonight’s special guests:
Dr. Joe Mercola (Interviewed by Shannon Leone) Wth over 20 million visits a month, Dr. Mercola’s website is THE online natural health resource on the planet. In this interview with Shannon, she asks all the juicy questions about the most common ailments out there and what to do about it.
This call will be made available for FREE after the summit has ended, so if you’re crunched for time, might want to take a peek at…
Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (Interviewed by Tera Warner) Since spring is just about here, we decided that it would be a great idea to focus on the kinds of simple things women can do to prepare themselves for a gentle detox. Dr. Ritamarie works with women all over the world who resolve everything from hormone issues, cancer, candida, brain-fog, fatigue, YOU NAME IT, just by making some simple dietary changes and simplifying their diets. This call gives you some practical to dos aaaand I have more to say about it a bit later. Going to make a special announcement/invitation to WISH participants for the remainder of our program together.
David Avocado Wolfe (Interviewed by Shannon Leone) Those of us familiar with the “Raw Food Movement” have seen this face and name a few times, but David is developing an international recognition for his revolutionary approach to eating! It’s not just about how long you’ll live, but the quality of your life and the impact your choices have on the generations to come. It’s not just about “surviving” it’s about thriving and feeling your health potential take new heights.
Susun Weed (Interviewed by Shannon Leone) I think the only book I referred to regularly during my pregnancy was Susun’s book “The Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Years”. Being able to have this goddess of ancient wisdom as a part of our WISH summit is an honor. Know that by listening to this call, you’re connecting with the inherent, natural, powerful, intuitive wisdom of women. You’ll feel like you’re hearing things you “knew” inherently, but just needed reminding about. Tune into YOUR wisdom with Susun’s help and experience.
Enjoy this evening’s presentations! I’m off to smooch my little ones and will be back with more updates soon.
Happy, healthy and having a great time,
Tera and Shannon

WOW! The fantastic info that came out from the interview with Susun Weed was just AMAZING! I have a whole different view, picture and understanding of Menopause. I am SO SO excited to have this experience! I am NO LONGER fearful of this stage in my life. It is sad that all because of the male factor in our lives that had to fulfill us with myths about our body! That does make me angry towards men due to the fact that they are the ones that produced this info, but I will not hold that anger for long, because it is not worth it, but I was just in SHOCK that it has all been a myth and not real info about our body. Thank You so so much for all that you have put into this WISH Summit. Both of you have done EXCELLENT work in organizing it all to run so smoothly and FULL of the BEST information possible. This is AWESOME!!

Although David Wolfe was perhaps exaggerating a bit to make his point about the value of reading a lot when he said read at the traffic lights, its not a safe suggestion. What does work really well that I’d like to share is audio books. They’re free from the public library, or cost about the same as the printed book they’re read by professional actors and its a childhood joy revisited to be read to. I never get stressed in the car anymore as delays are more time to listen to a great book -you can listen to motivational speakers too. I have my tiny CD player and headphones in a cloth bag shoulder bag and listen while I do my cleaning or food preparation too. MP3/ ipod / downloads can be used this way as well. This really helps with keeping up with my reading as there are just soooo many good books out there.

INCREDIBLE!!! I loved listening to all of the health and beauty speakers and I learned so much. David Wolfe blew me away – he is “way in there” when it comes to balancing live foods within smoothies and I kept rewinding and listening over and over again. I am so thankful for the WISH project – finally there are people who actually care about TRUE health and wellness and women!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
