Green Smoothies: Simpler is Better
Written by admin on March 8, 2010 – -
Your Monday motivation comes to you courtesy of Joan who recently completed our FREE 3-Day Green Smoothie Mini-Course and then went on to sign-up for our upcoming LIVE 10-Day Challenge! As many of our participants do, she sent me a thoughtful e-mail that I’d love to share with you! Many people have grown accustomed to meals with numerous ingredients and varieties of textures and tastes. But when it comes to green smoothies, you may just find that simpler is better.

My dear & juicy queen….
Thanks so much for the offer….have been learning a lot since the juicy mini course……and I’ve been purging what no longer works…….the biggest ah haaa so far is….stick to the basics & forget the frills…was adding all but the kitchen sink to my Vitamix and then I didn’t feel all that inspired to do it again……can feel tired and then hungry and ???….hmmm….not like the reported success stories shared….
So this time while taking the little course, I happened to notice the great advice…just try spinach and banana…ONLY!…um, huh??…improvised and used spinach, apple & 1 date….delish…and have been doing this one a lot…then added slices of green cabbage…then salad greens & apple…slowly expanding…
AND I ordered my new jug… it arrived Monday…. Today at 5am I was mixing up my magick greens & took them with me for the day… I am a tai chi teacher…and it was ideal to have sipping power all morning for breakfast & between class snacks…oh so juicy!… one draw back… should have ordered 2 jugs!!
The mini course helped me cross the bridge…have yet to try any of the other recipes in that course so will print them out and use them…..life crazed….and I’m not a computer chat room/blog techno diva – blogging is way over my head…
Tried the 3/17 challenge last year…got lost & felt embarrassed that I couldn’t figure out how to jump in/on, write and follow up….could never find the thread to follow to keep cheering on the one I had written…so impressed with everyone’s international journeys…lovely…though unable to get up to speed as they were on smoothies or computer or discipline…YIKES… so I’m just doing my thing…s.l.o.w.l.y….and treasuring my new plan of a jug of juice a day…fav is when it’s thick and goopy…will find the pudding recipe shared….seem to thrive on simple…and looking forward to wish…………..
Oh, the ah ha moment was … forget protein powder, oils & all the other stuff I was adding…lose all the extras!!….keep it simple….great mantra all around…feels just right…thanks to YOU!!
