(90-Day Detox) Day 60: The Final Stretch

Written by Tera on April 18, 2009 – -

Oooooooohkaaaaay, folks!

While there are still an absurd number of unanswered messages in my inbox, I MUST BLOG! The last few days have been busy ones as signups are coming in for our 6-Week Deep Tissue Detox. Exciting stuff, I tell ya! Thank you sooooo much to everyone who supported us by coming to the call and sending in your letters of appreciation. I got an interesting one that I’ll attach below.

First, let’s chat a bit.;-)

It’s Day 60.

CONGRATULATIONS for making it this far! Tomorrow we kick off the 3rd stage of this adventure and while this message may not come to you in time, there are some things I’d like to propose we do for the final stretch of this adventure.

I’d like to follow up on the proposition that we have some cleansing days in our week. I’ll be following along the deep tissue detox myself, but want to propose that weekends, or whenever it suits you best, that we include a day of juice feasting ONCE a week. Twice a week if you can. If you don’t have a blender or juicer… then you could consider having 2 days of no fat or even one day of no fat to help give your body and system a bit of a rest.

I would start this cleansing day tomorrow if I could, but we have a potluck dinner with our Raw in Montreal friends. I’m quite excited about seeing some new faces and connecting with everyone there. This week is special because everyone will be getting an invitation to join us next Sunday for another potluck dinner, but this time, we’ll have a film crew with us doing another segment on Raw Food for Radio Canada.

Interesting to realize that in two months there have been two tv interviews with local media. That’s pretty neat and a sure sign that raw food is on the rise in Montreal! That’s why it’s important that YOU be a pioneer out there in the world.

I wrote and spoke a lot about this on the teleseminar and Spring Fever page that I put together, but we really are the trail blazers in this movement and the opportunities are RIPE for building a business inspiring and assisting other people to turn their health and their lives around.

And so how ’bout your health and your life?

Are you ready to step it up a few notches around here? How have things been going?

I want to say more, but I have a little guy running a fever (another reason this comes later than expected). I gotta run, but Sunday morning you’ll be all mine!

More juicy news from me after a good night’s sleep.

Love you,

Tera

    Lovely Tera!
You are really awesome to stay cool and sprinkle love in such a difficult situation!
I have also sent you too much letters, sorry for that, but you don’t have to answer them, because everything is ok for me already. I am in!! So happy to join you on a Deep Detox!
I’ll never forget this day.. it was cloudy in the morning and i was a little sad, because i couldn’t subscribe to deep detox. I decided to go for a walk and suddenly there was storm! Real storm with snow. I stayed at home and decided to check the blog once again.. and.. waw! I saw this possibility and grabbed it! When i was done with payment and read your welcome letters i finely get outside to go to dancing class. Aand.. the sun was shining! The sky was blue and snow was so beautiful! Last snow i guess..
It was beautiful weather all day long, i was on the water fast feeling good! Today (19.04 7:42 in the morning) i am on the water again till Monday morning. So inspired by you interview with dr. Ritamarie!!
Sunny hugs to all raw divas!

It was only last Wednesday that I decided it was time to start cleansing by doing a juice feast for one day each week. :-) When hubby goes shopping this week, he’ll buy a few extra things for me so that I can do this.

Today I had some heart-breaking news from my 17yodd. She no longer lives at home, and is making some not so good decision. My first thought (after hubby & I both spoke with her) was that the biscuits (cookies) my son is baking just now would be a good binge, and that some Kahlua would be nice. :-( NOT a good decision!!!!

Then….. I came here to see what you have been up to, and received JUST the inspiration I needed to avoid toxifying my body with poisons!!! Thank you sooooooo much, Tera. You are a wonderful blessing, and I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done to help so many of us here.

    Hugs & blesssings,
    Veronica

Hi Tera–I’ll join you for a 1-day juice feast, if we do it next Saturday :) It would be fun to juice feast with you. I think I’ve juicefeasted a total of 30 days, but never more than 10 days at a time (usually just a couple at a time, though twice for about a week). I *love* juicefeasting; it’s awesome, though the first day can feel strange.

If you announce a date, I’m sure people will join you :) I think the group accountability thing really works. Maybe we all can support you, just like you have been supporting us …. ?

Good luck with all your work!

I love the idea of doing a day of just juice!! I have only done this once, and it was just only one day. It felt reeally good! WIth the support of you and all the divas, I’m sure I can do it again!

Until thursday my husband will be out of town, so it will be easiest for me to do the juice day! yeippp!!

    Love you as crazy!!

How serendipitous! I had just committed to juice feasting 1-day per week and here comes Tera syncing to the same vibe!

Hope your little guy is feeling better and you’ve gotten some rest.

FYI – my computer died yesterday. We’re gonna get another ASAP but in the meantime I’m on hubby’s laptop so I may not be as chatty as usual for a few days.

Today’s my early day at work – so I’m off!
    Love ‘n hugs to all,
    Karyn

    Hi all,

Veronica–So sorry for you as you are dealing with a child that is struggling. But, congratulations to YOU that you overcame and handled this in a healthy-for-YOU way! That’s a huge victory!!!

Courtney–Personally, I like your idea of everyone (if possible) juice-feasting on the same day. More fun when doing something with others.

    Happy day to all!
    Vanetta :)
