(90-Day Detox) Day 40: It’s Your Turn.

Written by Tera on March 27, 2009 – -

Okay, Ladies and Lovebirds.

It’s Friday.

Did you check out this week’s issues of Health In High Heels, yet? Shayla did SUCH a rockin’ job helping me out with that again. I loooove it. :-)

Tonight is my call with Brian Johnson. I’ve already had a nap and am rarin’ to go for this call! It’s going to be a super boost and I think it’s coming at juuuust the right time for me and hopefully for all of us.

Last night’s call was a hit and we were all very impressed with what Michael Perrine had to say. WOW! I’ve had sooo much positive feedback about that call, and it was very refreshing to debunk a few myths on the subject of bowel health. FLUSH and be free!! ;-)

You know what, Sunshine…

I like this daisy:

I know Jimmy’s going to get mad at me because I took the GINORMOUS version and made it a bit smaller in the blog, but I just wanted a big, fat daisy in front of my face right now. Did you notice what Jimbolina Sunshine did to make my bullets very cool and fancy. Check it out:

Here are all the things I love about you, Sparkle Puff:

  • Your smile.
  • Your sense of community.
  • Your willingness to persist in the face of obstacles.
  • How you get back up every time you fall.
  • The way you encourage others around you.
  • That dress you wore the other day, and actually, I’m a little bit jealous because it looked SOOOOO good on you. I’d like a dress like that.;-)

Daisy bullets!

That’s so cool. Thanks Jimbo!

So, here’s the situation for this, Day 40 or our 90-day detox. I have a lot to do to finish the detox announcement we’ve been working hard on, so if it’s okay with you, I’m going to put the steering wheel in YOUR hands for a change.

Maybe you could share with me where you’re at. What’s shaking in your universe, Sunshine? What song can you recommend to inspire our community? Cuz for a Sparkle Puff like me, right now my sparkle is dull and my puff is a bit PUFFier than I like it to be.

So if you don’t mind, why don’t we turn the wheel over to you fer a change? Huh? I’d like that. :-) Give the ol’ girl a break. ;-)

As you know, I went through a bit of spiritually reconstructive surgery this month and there are moments when I look out at the world and just don’t quite know what to think. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just change but I’m in more of a state of observation than expression right now, so maybe you can help.

Send us a song. Tell us where YOU are at. What’s shakin in your universe this Friday night?

I’m sure tonight’s call with Brian will be pretty neat. I hope to catch you then. In the meantime… INSPIRE US with anything you’ve got! A song, a video, a few words of success, a confessional… ANYTHING!

It’s your turn!

Ponderingly yours,

Tera

So far, 6 days on 80-10-10 with extra greens…I’m going well! Yay! I’m still reeling from the call with Michael Perrin. He was awesome!!! That’s been my favorite Raw Divas call all year! In fact, I was so inspired that I’m juice feasting today, and going to do an enema tonight. For me, serious juice feasting + enemas/colonics = spiritual experience.

    Love and hugs :)

I’m coasting through my Universe…it’s really quite amazing, I’m a bit awed by it actually. I’m in a time and place and space where I can just allow things to evolve and that’s what I’ve been doing for just over a week…magical. Been laughing at myself a lot and dancing like nobody’s watching! :-)

Loved Michael’s call. I’m sure Brian will be just as good.

    Have a good one Divas!

    Hugs,
    Nic

I am sooo excited for Brian tonight, and Michael was great. I just finished listening to the call while I am making a chocolate cake! A raw version, of course ;)

The Universe is giving me all I need and soooo much more right now. It is amazing what can happen if you just ask for it and focus. My dreams are coming true right before my eyes! So, ladies, here is my question of the day: What do you really, really want to happen in your life? Go! Ask away! And then begin making it happen!

Well, I guess I should get back to my little red blender and finish making dessert!

    Squeeze,
    Amanda

I’m feeling far better emotionally today, and am back on track with things.

Here’s my song for the day: ABBA’s Dancing Queen!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REElUors1pQ – this is their first performance of the song, and they’re wearing traditional 18th century clothes. Enjoy!

    Blessings,

Looove both of those songs. I’m in a place of watching to see what’s going to open up right now. I have several things that are loose ends in the process of being tied up. Kind of like seeing the doors close on something, knowing that new doors are opening, but don’t quite know what is on the other side. Learning to be content “in the moment’ is my focus. I tend to be more of a visionary and can get excited about the things I see “down the road” that I can miss the enjoyment of THIS day. That’s my lesson I am currently re-visiting.

I’m finishing up a kitchen cabinet paining and changing out the hardware. A few more days and I “should” be finished. This has taken all my attention this week. This has been a good opportunity to be OK with the process.

Blessings to all of you as you journey on,
    Vanetta

What’s shakin’ in my universe you ask?

Well… these days my head is totally revolving around my work. If you have any questions at this moment about Cinderella or hard-boiled detective stories, give me a shout. But I did take the time last night to listen to the call with Michael! And THAT call was so inspiring and positive that it put me in the mood for another audio delight, so I hooked myself up with Steve Pavlina’s latest podcast: http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2009/03/stevepavlinacom-podcast-023-life-the-universe-and-everything/ and thus contemplated the ‘deep stuff’ in life… while drinking a cup of coffee I might add. Actually, my diet pretty much oscillates between green smoothies and cups of coffee these days.

As for a song that fits my head space… I went cruisin’ the ole Youtube and found THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2ZckNqKxuw WOW! The lyrics are da bomb!! Perception… “look at your glass…”

I just survived a couple of weeks away without too much difficulty…first time I’ve ever gone on holiday and come home feeling ok rather than feeling bad with myself for overindulging! Even managed green smoothies every day and lots of salads…ok it wasn’t all perfect but it was good enough for me. Glad to be back though and looking forward to listening to the calls I missed. SX

Hello ladies! The last two calls with Michael and Brian have been so inspiring. Thank you Tera for bringing them into our lives! Daisies are my favorite flowers so I’m loving all the daisies!!
What’s going on in my life right now? I’m turning a new corner in my life right now. I wasn’t expecting it, didn’t see it coming, but somehow it’s just been a seamless transition. I’m trying to focus on what I want to do, what I love, what brings me joy, what fills me with ENTHUSIASM. It’s not as easy as it probably should be but I’m learning every day!
Thank you Tera for everything you do and for filling our lives with your own enthusiasm. It acts as a catalyst for us all! HUGS xx

So…my song for the week is “Here and Now” by Great Big Sea (I’m in the US, but I’m sure many of you in Canada know and love them). It’s about appreciating your life in the moment, and that’s a big deal for me right now.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8GHnY5rhvM

And – Tera’s fabulous, inspiring post the other day has helped me to no end. I’m resolving not to beat myself up, and working on small goals. So for now, I’m proud of the fact that I have eaten more greens in the past few weeks than I probably did in all of 2008. And it feels good to know I’m taking care of myself that way. I’m just going to concentrate on adding really good stuff to my life, whether it be food, or information, or company. I’m not going to worry about what I “shouldn’t” be doing that’s bad for me as much as what I AM doing that’s good for me. I read something by Dr. Dean Ornish last night, in which he said that sustainable change is much more likely to come from feeling the joy of living rather than the fear of dying. So that’s my inspiration for the week – to celebrate the great things I can do for myself that feel good NOW, not the things I need to avoid in order to lose weight or stop getting sick or whatever. No more guilt over lasagna! :)

I am pondering what to share. I actually don’t do lots with the internet. I am inspired as I look out at some of the people in my life that never give up. I am inspired by the people I have met that have been through wars and lost everything and are still moving ahead in life. I am inspired by all the beautiful gifts that life has to give us. Right now I am inspired by spring and the returning birds, blooming flowers and times of sunshine. I am inspired by all of you that come from all walks of life and yet can work together at improving your lives and encouraging others.
