We Have a Raw Diva Theme Song!!
Written by Tera on January 28, 2009 – -I have tears welling up in my eyes and my cheeks hurt from smiling. It doesn’t matter how grey a day gets, around here the overflowing bounty of sisterhood vibes keeps me uplifted, on fire and bubbling over with gratitude for the amazing women in my life.
One of those amazing women is Stacey Terry, who is “Bringing Health to Heartland of North America” in Winnipeg, Manitoba! She’s come onboard as a representative of Ecopolitan in Winnipeg, and you can read her very inspiring story here! Besides being a great writer and inspiring teacher, she’s a musician! And it was during a recent phone call that she let me in on some of her artistic abilities. That’s when we thought of coming up with a song–A Raw Diva Theme Song.
Well, I didn’t know she’s come up with something this fast and this fun, but here it is!
Stacey, thank you sooo much for the love, enthusiasm and inspiration you bring to us! It really is a gift having you in this community and I look forward to many more magical, musical, inspirational adventures together.
With gratitude,
Tera and Raw Divas everywhere!
Livin’ Diva
by Stacey Terry
Come a little closer, little to my lips
Tap those little toes and start to sway those hips
Yeah, that’s the way to move
And start to feelin’ fine
Now if you’ve got a sparkle let it shine.
Wouldn’t it be dandy if this feelin’ stayed
And you could live each day with new zeal?
Well sista, yes you can
If you ditch your pots and pans
And change the way you think about your meals
I’m an achieva
A change believa
I’m a gorgeous walkin’ talkin’ raw diva
I said now no more blues
From those cooked menus
Goodbye, farewell, so long, adieu, and seeya
Give me rainbows and greens, bananas, broccolis, and beans
I’m gonna give you back a smile that shines
I found the truth to love, beauty, and youth
Livin’ diva is so divine!
Now ovens don’t give lovin’ like a smoothie can
Fryin’ leaves you cryin’ nine times out of ten
But blendin’ helps with mendin’ all those cooked food woes
And soon you’ll have that bright raw diva glow
You’re gonna feel the best you’ve ever felt before
You’ll dance and laugh and sing all through the night
So drink it if it’s green, and you’ll see what I mean
You’re gonna see the livin’ diva light!
You’re an achieva
A change believa
You’re a gorgeous walkin’ talkin’ raw diva
You said now no more blues
From those cooked menus
Goodbye, farewell, so long, adieu, and seeya
Give me rainbows and greens, bananas, broccolis, and beans
I’m gonna give you back a smile that shines
You found the truth to love, beauty, and youth
Livin’ diva is so divine
We found the truth to love, beauty, and youth
Livin’ diva is so divine

Last night I just hit replay and listened to the Diva’s jingle over and over again…it put a bounce in my step or should I say my fingers on the keyboard! Love, love, love it!

I think I’m going to have to figure out how to download that to my mp3 player so I can listen to it while I work out! Thank you so much Stacey — and you just glow while you’re singing it!!!
I’ve already had a FB friend commented on it after I posted it to my profile — he loved it!

I love it! What a great, catchy song. I agree with Tami; I’d love to be able to download it as an MP3 file. Hey, Tera, maybe you could hook up the song to play when people open the Raw Divas website?!

Dear Tera,I just want to say that you guys are doing a great job and I have lost 10 lbs so far and wanted to say thank you. I am having a small problem -I deleted by accident the last link you sent me. The link was so I could go on the 90 day detox page and you had said that you were getting ready to get rid of some “more” bad things from the detox. So could you please send me that link again ?
I just have a question also, could we have herbal tea on the detox ?
Thank you ,
luv

How fun. Catchy tune, cute as a bug and talent as well. What more could we ask for in an artist to represent the Raw Diva’s?
Thanks a lot. I truly enjoyed it.

Just finished my 7 day detox. THANK YOU Ladies for all you do. You’ve got me back on track. I LOVE GREEN SMOOTHIES. I also love making exciting green salads with a little added fruit in place of the dressing. And the unity of all us divas makes me feel great. Thanks for the quirky song. So cute! Way to go.

Thanks for that song, I thrive on music, it inspires me, and uplifts me. I have not had a very good month and this is what I needed! Having to “cook” for others in my household makes it very hard! I feel so deprived when I don’t or can’t eat raw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for your support. I hope to start over again – each day is a new day and a new beginning

Awwww!!! Well thank you everyone for all the compliments! I had fun writing that… and there’s a green smoothie queen song in me somewhere just waiting to find its way out! I love Tera and what she’s doing, and I believe in the healing that comes with raw food! AND doing what you love… which for me, is music, so singing a raw food song is pretty much the happiest place I can get to!

Yes, Stacey is a Raw Diva through and through Merrylea.
Glad you got as much out of her brilliance as we did! Her hit track is exclusive to video only, so hopefully your computer is close to your kitchen so you can crank up the volume while your chopping and blending and dancing!
Love right back at ya from all The Raw Divas

My goodness this song is so great and its so true, I ate only raw and juiced for 2 weeks straight but than I went out with the hubby and we went to a vegetarian restaurant cause he wanted to take me out, so I ate a black bean burger while it did taste good in about 30 minutes I felt like I had lead weight in my belly it was awful, thank goodness I didn’t eat something horribly awful like chips or processed food..I haven’t cheated since the veggie burger and forget cooked food I am not into feeling bloated and tired I have great energy now
