California Girls

Well, it is our last day in “sunny, southern California” and it has lived up to every fabulous stereotype. Waking up each morning to the view of pelicans flying over the ocean and surfers riding the waves, and falling asleep each night to ocean breezes and the sounds of crashing waves, has made the busy time we’ve had here, relaxing nonetheless!

This is a beautiful, beautiful place, and I will be longing to return as soon as possible.

For now I will try to enjoy my last 18 hours or so without too much dread of impending winter in the north… Here’s to sipping green smoothies in the sun!
